This document governs the use of the ManageEditors service. By creating an account, downloading the watcher, or uploading any content, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the service.
1. Who provides the service

"We", "ManageEditors", or "the Service" refers to the entity indicated above. "You" or "the User" refers to the natural or legal person who uses the Service.
2. What ManageEditors is
ManageEditors is a SaaS tool for streamers and video creators that automates uploading OBS Studio recordings to a workspace shared with their editors. It includes:
- A desktop watcher (Windows .exe) that detects when an OBS recording ends and uploads it automatically.
- A web dashboard where the streamer and their editors view VODs, mark them as delivered, and download them.
- Storage of VODs on a third-party cloud storage provider, with auto-deletion by plan.
- Subscription, billing, and cancellation management through Stripe.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password and agent tokens confidential. Do not share them.
- To create an account you must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity under the jurisdiction that applies to you.
- An account is for a single person or entity. If you need more people to access your VODs, invite them as editors from
/app/settings.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including that of the editors you invite.
4. Subscription, trial, and cancellation
Free trial
When you sign up you receive a free trial of 3 days with no card required. During that period you can upload VODs subject to the Trial plan caps. Once the period ends, uploads are blocked until you subscribe to a plan.
Plans and billing
- The subscription is monthly, charged in advance at the start of each period through Stripe.
- Prices include VAT where applicable under your jurisdiction.
- You will receive an electronic invoice for each charge, accessible from your Stripe customer portal.
- You can change plans at any time from the portal. The change is prorated automatically.
Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from
/app/settings → Manage subscription. There is no minimum term.
- After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
- There are no prorated refunds for months already started, except where required by applicable consumer law.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumer)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw without justification, unless you have actively started using the service (uploaded VODs) — in which case you expressly waive the right of withdrawal when you click "Subscribe".
5. Your content
Your VODs are yours. We claim no ownership over what you upload. We only need the essential technical permissions to store them, generate thumbnails, transmit them to your editors, and delete them when the plan period expires.
By uploading content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and limited license, solely to:
- Store your VODs on our cloud storage provider for the duration of your plan's retention period.
- Generate and serve preview thumbnails in the dashboard.
- Allow downloads by you and the editors you invite via temporary signed URLs.
- Display metadata (filename, tags, deadlines) in your dashboard.
This license terminates automatically when a VOD is deleted (by plan expiry or because you remove it). We do not use your VODs for advertising, nor to train AI models, nor do we share them with third parties beyond the subprocessors strictly necessary for the service to function (see Privacy Policy).
6. Acceptable use
You may not use ManageEditors to store or distribute content that:
- Is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the server's (EU / Spain).
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights (stream "rips" of pay-per-view events, DMCA-protected content, etc.).
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — immediately reportable to the authorities.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or discrimination.
- Constitutes sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent (leaks, doxxing).
You also may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the watcher's source code beyond what is permitted by law.
- Overload the service with automated requests unrelated to its normal use.
- Share your agent token with third parties outside your workspace.
- Create multiple accounts to evade plan caps or the trial period.
If we detect abusive use we may suspend or close your account. For serious violations (CSAM, flagrant illegal content) we will delete the content and notify the competent authorities.
7. Plan caps
Each plan has server-side caps that are applied automatically:
- Storage: when you reach the cap (50 GB Free / 2 TB Plus / 5 TB Pro / 10 TB Team) new uploads return a 413 error until you free up space or upgrade your plan.
- Retention: VODs are deleted automatically once the plan period passes (3 days Free / 14 Plus / 30 Pro / 60 Team). A deleted VOD cannot be recovered.
- Editors: 1 (Free), 2 (Plus), unlimited (Pro, Team).
- PCs with watcher: 1 (Free / Plus / Pro), multiple (Team / Custom).
8. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service operational 24/7, but we do not contractually guarantee uptime on Free, Plus, and Pro plans. There may be:
- Scheduled maintenance (we'll notify you by email when relevant).
- Occasional outages due to infrastructure failures (our hosting, storage, payment or email providers).
- Service upgrades that require a restart.

9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties beyond those granted to you by consumer law.
- We are not responsible for the loss of VODs caused by: a cloud storage outage, failure of your local watcher, failures of your connection, manipulation or deletion by you or by editors you have invited, nor by the automatic expiry of the retention period of the plan you have subscribed to.
- Our maximum financial liability to you is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
- This limitation does not apply to damages from willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any liability that cannot be legally excluded.
Recommendation: ManageEditors is designed as a temporary buffer between OBS and your editor, not as long-term archival storage. If you need to keep a VOD beyond your plan's retention period, download it and store it in your own storage.
10. Changes to the service and the terms
- We may change features, prices, or plan caps. Material changes are announced by email with at least 30 days notice.
- If we raise prices, you can cancel before the change affects you with no penalty.
- If we change these terms, the "Last updated" date will reflect the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
- You can close your account at any time from the customer portal or by requesting it at soporte@manageeditors.com.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, especially the acceptable-use rules.
- After termination: VODs are deleted from storage, personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy, and billing data is retained as required by tax obligations.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, both parties submit to the courts of the city where the provider is domiciled, unless consumer law grants you a more favorable venue.
If any clause is found null or unenforceable, the rest of the document remains fully valid.
